Stephan McCurley is a late model racing champion from the state of Texas. In 2009, Stephan is racing for the Rookie Of The Year Title in the ARCA Re/Max Series for PGM Racing.

Stephan Scores Seventh Place at Mansfield

Driving the #03 PGM Chevy, Stephan put on an exciting short track racing show in the ARCA Re/Max Series for the Tim Richmond Memorial 200 Saturday night. He qualified and started 5th. Early in the race he got caught up in an incident, went in to pit. Restarting from the back, he came up through the field, regained his lap on a re-start for the Lucky Dog Award, and finished the race in 7th place on the lead lap. This is a career best finish for Stephan so far in the ARCA Re/Max Series. He moved up from 13th to 11th in the overall driver point standings.

The McCurleys - Father and Son Race to the Future

This weekend is Father’s Day, and for nineteen year old ARCA Rookie Stephan McCurley he will be spending plenty of ‘quality time’ with his dad and crew chief Mike McCurley as they compete in the Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA RE/MAX 200 at Mansfield Motorsports Park.  The father and son duo have worked together the last 12 years towards a common goal – success for Stephan’s racing career. These years were spent side-by-side, in the shop and racing on the weekends since Stephan was seven years old, with Mike as the crew chief and Stephan the driver.
